Lorna Cepeda and Natalia Ramírez—the legendary “Marce” and “La Peliteñida”—bring their undeniable chemistry to the States for a limited February tour.
The wait is over for fans of the global phenomenon Yo soy Betty, la fea. The two women who gave life to the most beloved “antagonists” in television history, Lorna Cepeda and Natalia Ramírez, have officially touched down in the United States. But don’t expect a trip down memory lane at Ecomoda; instead, they are bringing a sharp, hilarious, and dark theatrical experience titled “Muertas de La Risa” (Dying of Laughter).
A Tale of Two Rivals and One Dead Man
Forget the office drama. In this black comedy, the actresses portray two women who cross paths in the most unlikely of places: a morgue. They both arrive to identify a loved one, only to discover they are mourning the exact same man.
What follows is a high-stakes showdown of scandalous confessions, shocking truths, and old grudges. Far from a stand-up routine, the production is a full-scale theatrical play that showcases the dramatic range and comedic timing that made these two international icons.
“Lorna had the idea through her manager to do something theatrical and she thought—thank God—of me,” says Natalia Ramírez. “We reached out to director Juan Ricardo Gómez, and by 2024, the project was alive. We premiered in Bogotá with three shows, but they sold out so fast we had to add three more!”
The 2026 U.S. Tour Schedule
Produced by Tiranube Entertainment, RumbaMiami, and Repalaw, the tour kicked off on Valentine’s Day and continues through the heart of February:

Lorna Cepeda (The Unforgettable “Peliteñida”)
The Cartagena-born actress became a household name as Patricia Fernández. Her career started in modeling at 16 before she transitioned to acting in 1997. Her comedic genius earned her a TVyNovelas Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2001, cementing her status as a Latin American TV legend.
Natalia Ramírez (The Sophisticated “Marce”)
Before she was the formidable Marcela Valencia, Ramírez was a musical prodigy, winning a reality show at age 13 and representing Colombia in the OTI Festival. With a career spanning decades—including hits like Venganza and Enfermeras—she remains one of the most respected antagonists in the industry.
Why You Can’t Miss It
For millions of fans, seeing “Marce” and “La Peliteñida” reunite on stage is a bucket-list event. “Muertas de La Risa” is a testament that laughter is indeed the best medicine—even when the secrets are dark and the truth is lethal.
