The community gathered today to honor and celebrate the vibrant traditions, music, and flavors of Hispanic culture, in an event full of dance, delicious food, and joy that reaffirmed the community connection.
The successful day was held under the direction of @mariateresa_mcphail and staff, who guided the celebration, creating a true festival of culture and connection.
The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of various sponsors and leaders. Profound gratitude was extended to AARP, and particularly to Louis Davis Jr., AARP DC State Director, for his crucial sponsorship.
It featured the presence and support of DACL and the participation of local government leaders, including District 1 Councilmember, Brianne Nadeau, and District 2 Councilmember, Brooke Pinto.
The invaluable support of the Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs was highlighted, with sincere thanks to Jackie Reyes and Eduardo Perdomo. Additionally, the constant assistance and backing of Pedro Biaggi was recognized.
